Cabin Fever Chased at Umpteenth Annual St. Patty's Day Parade
Cob webs, dust mites, and oil gremlins were chased from about two dozen Britmobiles
(plus one Benz-o-matic) at the St. Patrick's Day Parade on March 12th. As predicted by the Farmer's Almanac, it
was a blue bird day with lots of sun and fresh air to enjoy as the BMCU troupe cooled their heels and radiators
until we had the honors of rolling next to last past the reviewing stand.
An added bonus thanks to Ron Gunderson was a television film crew (OK, there was one multi-talented lady doing
it all) taping for a show featuring the BMCU to run on a car show on KJZZ-TV (more details on this as we learn
them). Beaucoup footage was shot, including interviews, folks in, out and under cars, a parade lap around the
parking lot, and opening and closing group shots (look for all the green hair and beards).
After the event a pleasant lunch was had by many attendees at Granato's Italian Deli on 300 West.
Enjoying the outing were Gary, Sandy and Margaux Lindstrom, Riley Nevins, Paul and Elizabeth Jaroch, Mitch and
Diane Johnson, Floyd, Tammy, Darron, Cate and Elle Inman, Ray Agutter and Carol Sonntag, Ron Gunderson, Ed Nielson,
Dennis Hagland, Steve and Kathy Dougherty, David and Carol Marks, Robert Vargas, Mary and Larry Bishop, Bob and
Dixie Jahnke, Doug Wimer, Steve Nelson and Kenzie Long, Brad Parkin, Stand and Mary Lou Jenkins, Jon and Susan
Hermance, Steve Bender, Sheree and Marv Marcus, and Ron Christensen.
